Free Custom AI check · 18 questions · about 6 minutes
Does a Custom AI make sense in your company?
Eighteen questions on the work that repeats, on where the documents live, and on the systems you use. At the end you know whether it makes sense, which piece to start with, and what can be connected.
There are 18 questions because this is a real analysis, not a quiz. You do not need to know about artificial intelligence. If you do not know a product name, choose “I don't know”. If a topic does not apply to you, you can skip it.
- A verdictIt makes sense, it makes sense only for one piece, or it is too soon.
- The first pieceSearch in documents, routing, data extraction, or an internal assistant.
- A map of your systemsERP, CRM, mail and files, and what can be connected.
- A planWhat to prepare, where to start, and what to leave alone.
You can stop and come back when you want. The answers stay on this device until you ask for the full report.
Built on 25 years of work in the field
These are the questions we ask when a company wants to know whether a Custom AI makes sense. We put them in order so you can ask them yourself. Then, if you want, we look at the rest together.

What PCDUE’s Custom AI check is
It is a free check to see whether a Custom AI makes sense in your company, and where to start. Eighteen questions, about six minutes, on repetitive work, documents, ERP, CRM, and who can say whether an answer is right.
What it looks at
Three areas, each scored from 0 to 100: the work, the data, and control. The systems do not lower the score: they show what can be connected, even if the ERP has no API.
How we calculate the score
Each answer is worth 0 to 4 points. An area score is the percentage of points gained. The overall score is a weighted average: work 40, data 35, control 25. From 70 the verdict is “it makes sense”, from 42 to 69 “it makes sense only for one piece”, below 42 “it is too soon”. Work that never repeats, less than two hours a week, data that lives only in people’s heads, or no examples to read, set the verdict to “it is too soon”. “I don't know” is a point to check. “This doesn’t apply to us” leaves the calculation.
Questions about the Custom AI check
What is PCDUE’s Custom AI check?
It is a free questionnaire. In about six minutes it says whether a Custom AI makes sense in your company, which piece to start with, and which systems can be connected.
What does “first piece” mean?
Only one of four: search in documents, classification and routing, extraction into the ERP, or an internal assistant. The rest waits.
Do we need to know the name of our ERP?
No. There is a list of well-known names, plus “Other” and “I don't know”. If the ERP has no API, you still select it: the connection is checked on the call.
Is the check the feasibility study?
No. The check says whether it is worth looking further. The feasibility study is the free 45-minute call, which goes into the piece you chose.
What does it cost?
The check and the call are free. A Custom AI project, after the analysis, takes 4 to 8 weeks. The price depends on the data sources, the systems, and how many people use it.
