Management systems and web apps

The application you are missing, built the way you need it

When the shared spreadsheet has become the real management system of the business, it is time to get serious.

Many important business processes live inside Excel files passed from hand to hand. They work as long as one person is using them, then come the duplicate versions, the broken formulas, the data that disappears and the question nobody can answer any more: which is the right file?

A web application solves this: a single place where the data sits, reachable from any workstation, with the right permissions for each person and a record of who changed what. Built on your process, not on what the maker of a standard piece of software imagines it to be.

What we build

Internal management systems

Jobs, case files, service calls, stock, production. The software that follows your real workflow instead of forcing you to bend it.

Portals for customers and suppliers

Private areas where the people who work with you can check documents, the status of their files and deadlines without having to phone you.

Dashboards and reporting

The numbers that matter, updated automatically from the systems that produce them, visible to whoever has to decide without going through a monthly file.

Tools for the field

Applications designed to be used on site, in the warehouse or at the customer’s premises, from a phone or tablet, even on an unstable connection.

The principles we follow

The way of working that reduces the risk of building the wrong thing.

  • We start from the real process, observed and not just described
  • The first version is limited and reaches users early
  • It is corrected on what comes out of use, not on assumptions
  • The data stays on infrastructure in Europe
  • Data and configurations are yours, exportable whenever you want
  • At handover, people really do know how to use it

How we work

  1. The real process

We come and see how you really work, including the steps nobody mentions because they seem obvious.

  2. A first limited version

We build the part that solves the biggest problem and put it in people’s hands early, not when the project is finished.

  3. Correction from use

It is adjusted on what comes out of using it, not on assumptions made at a desk. This is the stage that saves projects.

  4. Release and training

It goes live when people know how to use it, with the old data already in and the permissions in the right place.

Before we start, in plain terms

Typical timescales
About 6 weeks for a management system
To get started you need
An internal point of contact, sample data and a clear idea of the result to be achieved
After release
If it runs on our infrastructure, a monthly fee with servers, security and maintenance. If it runs on your systems, an annual fee for maintenance and technology updates
Ownership
Data, knowledge base, configurations and documentation are yours, exportable at any time. The technology remains PCDUE’s, granted for use for the duration of the service
Where the data is held
Infrastructure in Europe, with separate access for each customer
What determines the price
How many areas the management system covers and how much data has to be recovered from the old one

Support

Frequently asked questions

Can you build an internal AI assistant for employees?

Yes. An internal AI assistant can help employees and collaborators find information, check procedures, read company documents, answer practical questions and cut down repetitive requests.

Can AI help the technical team?

Yes. It can support technicians and operators by retrieving procedures, guides, manuals, standard configurations, request history and information useful for troubleshooting.

What is an AI internal search system?

It is an intelligent search engine that lets staff quickly find information inside documents, procedures, manuals, files and knowledge bases.

What is an AI summary and reporting system?

It is a solution that summarises documents, conversations, emails, tickets, calls or meetings, producing reports that are easier to read and more useful for operational decisions.

Can you build dashboards to keep an eye on what the AI is doing?

Yes. A dashboard can show conversations, requests, categories, summaries, drafts, priorities, statistics, escalations and the work handled by the AI.

Is custom software better than standard software?

If there is a standard product that covers your process, it is almost always the better choice: it costs less and somebody else maintains it. Custom makes sense when the process is your competitive advantage, or when adapting to a standard would cost more than the software itself. We tell you beforehand, even when the answer is that we are not needed.

Where does the data in the application sit?

On infrastructure in Europe, or on your own servers if you prefer. It is a choice we make together at the design stage, taking account of privacy obligations and of how the application will be used.

Does it work on a phone as well?

Yes. The applications we develop adapt to screens of any size. When the main use is on the move, we design for the phone from the start and not for the desktop.

What happens if we change supplier in the future?

You take away data, configurations and documentation in standard formats, at any time: it is a condition we put in writing. The technology the solution is built on stays ours, granted for use for the duration of the service.
